Solar Panel Removal & Reinstall for Roof Work

Getting your roof coated, repaired, or replaced? Your solar panels have to come off first — and go back on right. Ace Window and Solar Cleaning safely removes and reinstalls rooftop solar panels for homeowners and roofing contractors across San Diego County. We handle the electrical shutdown, the heavy lifting, and the restart — you handle the roof.

What we do:
• Safe system shutdown following the manufacturer's procedure (Enphase, SolarEdge, and string systems)
• Every panel numbered so it returns to its exact original spot
• Panels staged safely on the roof or at ground level — rails and mounts stay in place
• Reinstall with clamps torqued to spec and all connections clicked home and sealed
• System turned back on and production verified in your monitoring app before we leave

Pricing:
$100–$150 per panel — includes both visits (removal + reinstall). Your final quote depends on panel count, roof height and pitch, and system type. No surprises: you get the number before we start.

For roofers:
Need a reliable panel crew for your coating and re-roof jobs? We work to your schedule, coordinate cure times, and document system production before and after. Call us before you bid the roof.

Why Ace:
• $1M insured
• 20 years of experience on San Diego roofs
• Before-and-after production screenshots on every job
